Schedule | Weight & Balance | Maintenance Status | Service Report

The Post operates two airplanes, a Cessna 150 Commuter, and a Piper Cherokee 180.  Primary training takes place in the Cessna, N704VU.  After obtaining his or her license, the new pilot is encouraged to "step up" to the Cherokee, N1214T.  Stepping up affords them the better performance of the Cherokee, with its higher cruise speed and higher gross weight.  It allows them to take two extra passengers and to transition into an environment more representative of what they will find when they one day leave the Post and go out on their own.  Even so, they still enjoy the benefits of our monthly pilot meetings and safety lectures.  And, of course, they enjoy the security of knowing that their airplane is maintained to the highest standards.  To see some pictures of aircraft we've owned in the past, click here.
